Prior to using Beautycounter skincare, I had never used an effective serum. I also didn’t understand the importance of having a serum within my skincare routine. Essentially I was a skincare newbie & needed all of the help I could possibly get because I was seriously struggling with dull skin, dry skin, & awful hormonal acne. Flash forward to now, my skin has never looked better & in large part, I attribute that to my amazing Beautycounter skincare products & consistent use of serums within both my AM & PM skincare routines!
So with that said, I wanted to do a full review on the incredible serums that Beautycounter currently offers, to help you choose the best serum for whatever your personal skin goals may be! I have experience using all of the 5 serums featured within this post, so I’m fully confident recommending them all. While I don’t use them all at once, they all have been incredible for my skin!

This C Serum is Beautycounter’s best selling skincare product & it’s the MOST re-purchased product by my own personal clients. It’s a complete game changer within any routine. This serum features an ultra-potent 10% blend of two forms of vitamin C (5% Bis-Glyceryl Ascorbate & 5% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), turmeric, & camu camu extract which instantly brightens skin & helps to even skin tone.

How to apply this serum
In the evenings, after you cleanse & apply your toner, apply 1-2 pumps of the Overnight Resurfacing Peel to your face & or neck. It may tingle upon application, this is normal. Allow the product to fully absorb (3-5 minutes) & then follow with a moisturizer. I’d recommend the Countermatch Recovery Sleeping Cream or the Countertime Supreme Cream. Leave the peel on overnight, it will NOT peel off. Cleanse well in the morning following use of the peel. You can use the peel up to every other night! On nights that you use the Overnight Resurfacing Peel, you will skip your regimen serum.
Use only as directed. Avoid eye contact. If irritation persists, discontinue use & consult a physician. Cover areas where AHAs have been applied with sunscreen prior to exposure to the sun & for a week after use.
